Hello! I am Katie Lauren, I’m 18 years old and about to start University in September to study BA Media and Communications. My enthusiasm for all things media started when I took GCSE Media in year 10 and since then my passion to be creative using technology and social media to have an influence on others, has increasingly grown. I love the excitement from publishing content to see how people respond to it. I have explored different sectors of the media such as journalism, TV, radio, publishing, filmography and blogging. Some I thoroughly enjoyed while others I’ve realised are not for me. Currently I’m most interested in social media marketing. In order to publish my own content and create my own footprint in the media world I decided a blog about my interests would be thoroughly enjoyable and would be complimentary to my YouTube channel where I upload travel and cooking videos.
